Delivery Process – COVID 19 Safety Compliance
In order to keep you and our delivery crews safe we've introduced a new delivery process.
Find out what's changed below.
- Crews will maintain social distancing measures at all times, wearing gloves and also surgical face masks where Safe Systems of Work dictate (where 2 metre social segregation is not possible ). Customers may wish to wear PPE as they see fit.
- Empties are to be clearly segregated by the Customer ahead of the crew arriving.
- Customers are politely asked not to be in cellars when crews are making the delivery as part of the social distancing guidelines, but will be given the opportunity to check the stock once the crew has exited the cellar.
- Crews will have an off loading check sheet for the delivery and any returns (fulls/excess empties/ullage) plus the Smartpod device.
- The Smartpod is only handled by one crew member and is not passed to the Customer at any time.
- The off loading check sheet will be positioned so Customers can check the delivery off.
- Any discrepancies are discussed at distance with the driver and marked on the paperwork and the Smartpod.
- The customer signs the paperwork with their own pen, noting whether the delivery has been made in full below the signature.
- The Customer will be given time to take photographs of the paperwork for their own records if they so wish.
- The paperwork is placed flat so that driver can approach and photograph the signature. That image is subsequently superimposed on the pdf POD that is emailed to the Customer.
- The offloading check sheet is returned with the crew in a fresh plastic envelope.
